but I've looked and looked and not found another like this one
What a handful
" I have found a couple of others pairs out there but have not been able to figure out who the Scher is
I fell in the love with this guy the moment I saw him
I believe this painting is American and likely dates to the late-ish 1800s
The Best Little Antique Pencil Drawn Cutout Cat! Japanese porcelain but I've looked and lookedMew! Those whiskers! This guy is small, but one of my favorite things ever. I know based on a few other little watercolors I purchased along with it that it was done by a school girl in the 1800s, and what a happy thing that it has endured. I'd frame it up and hang it in a cozy corner. 3 7 16" t x 2 1 2" w, pencil on lined paper and in great antique condition.
